People are lying to themselves if they think the capital will change .

I have been to different places around Somalia/Land and there are no places that come even close to Mogadishu.

I don't know if you saw in one of my earlier posts, but at the end of last year, I went from Hargeisa all the way to Garowe and Galkacyo.

Hargeisa was good but still had a small-town feel. Everything from Hargeisa to Bosaso was dusty and underdeveloped.

We had to flee Bosaso because of tensions, we went to Garowe which was actually neat, quiet, and stable. I was told most of the money from Puntland goes into there.

Went to both sides of Galkacyo, and some of my extended family live in the Southern part. Galkacyo was surprising not too bad, the first time I've been there.

The People of Bosaso are actually very friendly, unfortunately, at the time there was a lot of cabsi. Bosaso can develop itself into a major port if proper investments go into it.

The one thing I realized while trying, is that the average Somali no matter what qabil, just wants peace and nolol. You won't see people talking about qabil or dumb stuff, everyone is just worried about his own livelihood.

The problem is the people in the west, who are living comfortably and stirring things back home.

Qabiil is a curse that we gave ourselves, isku Dir and balaayo. We’d all be living comfortably in our deegmo if qabiil never existed.

only good thing that came from qabiil is every tribe wanted there own land so we kept on expnding until what we now know as somaliweyn. If somaliweyn was the size of rwanda wallahi nobody would support that shit kkkkk.

I respect your opinion but I have to disagree. Apart from Hargeisa which now claims to no longer be a part of Somalia the second capital has always been Baidoa. Even when Cabdiqasim became president the Dowlad was in Baidoa. Then when Abdullahi Yusuf became president Baidoa was Capital for 2 years.

If the capital ever changes even in the Dastuur it says the next capital is Baidoa. Thats if Mogadishu ever becomes unsafe etc.

For that reason I believe if Somalia decides to change the capital it will automatically be Baidoa. Reer Baidoa will welcome this.

In the early 2000s when the capital was Baidoa for 2 years Reer Baidoa beneffitted a lot in terms of business and even developing the city. Inshallah the capital will be changed to Baidoa and it will become a safe place for all somalis to live and equality between somalis Madow iyo Jileec.

Hargeisa is big but not suited to be a capital, poorly designed, water problem for a decade, etc.
