Last time HSM was in villa Somalia it was an office building with 2 furnished rooms. He came back to a presidential palace. He was shocked at the renovations the villa had gone through watch his amazement during the inaguration ceremony it's like a kid going to a theme park for the first time kkk

Yes I remember many people were hopeful but there was never a big change under his term.. Anyway it shouldn't matter who's the president as long as the country is safe and secure and each citizen is treated equally under the rule or law and each citizen has been given the opportunity to achieve his or her dream/ambitions without looking at their tribal background, that is the Somalia we should aim to build.. Many of us are born or grew up in the west, we are well educated and smart and we know how first world countries work, so why are we stuck on useless tribalism, it is like we turn into a chimp as soon as we see another Somali of different tribe.. We have same religion, which Ethiopia doesn't even have and also similar culture and language even though some of our seccesionists brothers from the north would argue they don't understand anything south of Lascaanood, but anyway the message is clear, we have more in common to unite us than vise versa, so why do we keep on being stuck in this vicious tribal cycle?
@Abdisamad none of the people who're against has any power to stop it, including the xabasho. Even if they step back and respect our sovereignty Somalia is an independent country and can ask for help from anyone they like. Nothing to do with xabashi or anyone else.
Ethiopia has further entrenched themselves into Gedo since Gurguurte decided to pull out the heavily armed Gorgor troops stationed there two years ago. They were defending the bridge into Doolow along with the airport and other key border crossing in Beledxawo. Those troops perished in Galcad with all of the weapons falling into the hands of Shabaab.
Now Ethiopia has taken control of both the airport and the bridge in Doolow. They've stationed there troops in an abandoned refugee camp called kapaasa. They've built further military encampments in Beledxawo. I don't think they plan on leaving.

Basically in this thread you can observe Hawiye trying to use Egyptians to pacify southern Somalia and limit Ethiopian leverage, Raxanwyne and southern Daroods are wholly and totally dependent on Ethiopia to remain afloat. Ethiopian forces are their life support without them AS will take over JL and SWS in matter of months. They're very cautious of a pro Hawiye Egyptian forces setting shop in their regions.
