Haplogroup T?

Hello everyone,
A friend recently encouraged me to take a DNA test, and since this trend has been growing among Somalis, I decided to give it a try. My results came back 100% Somali, which was no surprise, but my haplogroup caught my attention—it doesn’t seem to be native to the Horn of Africa, or at least, it’s not commonly found here. I’ve tried researching it, but there’s very little information available. I’m curious to learn more about its origins and how it might have made its way to the Horn. If anyone has any insights I wanna hear your thoughts!

T is commonly found among Isaaq and Issa, basically north west regions of Somaliweyne. So, yours is the 2nd most common haplogroup among Somalis. The T haplogroup entered the horn of Africa, as some suggest, 2000-2400 years ago. Somali language wasn't yet formed at that time, as some expert say (2000-1700 years ago).

You should have searched the forum or other sites that deal with DNA instead of writing your life story.
There are dozens of posts on the topic you are looking for.
Obviously, you have to search before you ask.
Don't be lazy .

What makes you think I didn’t? This is a Somali forum. I came here to see if there are other people with the same haplogroup or individuals more knowledgeable about this stuff than me. Like I said, if you have something of value to share, then do it—but you’re assuming too much, buddy. Also, if you think that’s a life story, your life must be very boring.

What about biimal, have you seen any samples from them
I know Gadsen are primarily E-V32 even the ones that live next to Isaaq in the Haud, I've seen a few Biimaal who are T but you'll find E-V32 amongst them too, need more tested, I've found a T Jaarso and Nole as well, until they take a Big Y we can't tell if it's the Sudanese T or the Dir variant.
