I do however care about my job/money and most jobs in this country are given by white people. these same white people don't care about your Somaliness, they see you as another black American and since they seem to have extreme hatred for AAs they will profile you and will not treat you the same as the white employees. Plus, if you are like me who has a Muslim name it's even worse!

Plus Not everyone can own their own businesses. I'm aiming for that and already laid the plans to start my own shit some day but I need to feed myself and pay the bills at the moment.

Maybe it's better there but USA has a lot more opportunities is a much bigger country and has a more diverse population. Or Maybe I should just move to a more diverse city with less White people. I don't know breh! The struggle is real.

I wish there were places where Somalis were well established and owned companies. I would be much happier working for and with Somalis but this generation is mainly refugees and they don't own shit. The previous generations would've owned something and well established by now but they mixed in and have been assimilated in New York City a long time ago. they aren't even Somali anymore by now.
