@Teeri-Alpha @RasCanjero You guys are smart. Join our new movement. We will be the free masons of somalia (minus the weird orgies and cult shit). We will control the economy by taking over regions from the shadows and build the country up to suit the needs of the ppl and not corrupt politicians.

That's a great idea and it could definitely work.

With a bit of planning and some resources we could easily run circles around the foreign puppets and warlords that run most of the Somali region.

However, not to point out the obvious but you need plenty of resources if you want to do more than just talk.

@Teeri-Alpha you don't need to be a billionaire to take control of Jubaland.

All you need is enough for some loyal feet on the ground and a small but effective intelligence organization. A dozen smart local men/women would be enough to infiltrate the most important power centres in the region. You might not have the resources to know everything your targets are doing but you would know the structures of their organization and how to easily take it down or control it. I.e bribe the leuitenants of chiefs, plan ways to easily raid their safe houses with minimal resources or find out who's behind them and make a deal directly with them.

You just need to control a few levers of power to have leverage over all of Jubaland... that's what the Brits do all over East Africa.
