I clicked on couple of videos of her and realized whilst she is not culturally Somali to the fullest, she speaks good Somali and seems to be a decent woman. No one is perfect. Hope they find happiness and learn more about Islam to perfect their union.

Many did marry the bottom of the barrel type of men, but this woman seems different for her efforts to attach herself to her culture and not to show any hint of dissatisfaction with being Somali.

We need to be realistic. Many of us won't marry

- Somali woman with many kids in the west,
- Women who chose a life style that is counter to our Somali culture(Druggies and alcoholics who party)

These women will end up marrying any man who comes their way because Somali men aren't interested in them for obvious reasons. We need to separate women amongst these who married out but still attach themselves to the culture and pose no harm to us, from those who are vocal opponents of Islam and Somalis like some who are here.

I am biased towards any woman who want to remain a Somali in any capacity despite other choices she had to make to meet a goal in her life that other Somali men did not want to fulfill.

I don't have a real right to speak on the hijab since I only wear it when it's convenient and for other people. But I do know that I can't be disrespectful in it that if I wear it there is a certain way I have to carry myself befitting all the other women that wear it all the time.

Everyone struggles in their own way. If it is meant for you to have a place with your creator, you will eventually find peace with him provided you sincerely ask for his guidance. Only Allah almighty can give the human hearts the stability in faith they require or ask for. He hears the calls of those who call on him for guidance.
