I really dislike hearing the word "legend" on social media. It's so overused and annoying. Every time someone uses it, I know they're probably not saying anything useful . Instead of "legend," what are some other words they can use? An alternative word which can add more variety and precision to their messages.

I agree but I would prefer to not use foreign concepts like ‘legen’ at all

Somali social media is accumulating too much gaalo influence. It’s needs to remain organically Somali otherwise it’s just gaal culture imho

Halyeey is very specific though. These social media fobs use ‘legen’ far too liberally. You can’t call a social media fob who goes on tiktok for dawarsi a ‘halyeey’ but the fobs will describe such a miscreant as a ‘legen legen dhalay’
