Unhealthy lifestyle.

Little to no exercise or activity. I honestly don’t know how some of them seem to go through life without labour.

Go to hargeisa and most of the dudes you see there are wearing skinny jeans and walk around like women. Half of them seem like they have never lifted a finger in their lives.

I think they’re just living off money sent back home.

The diet is also important. Eating canjeelo and bariis everyday is how you grow fat and no muscle. There should be more hilib (specifically chicken and beef) in Somali diet.

modernization and jahilnimo has caused a strong spike in femininity amongst men in the whole world, not just developed nations.

I can’t seem to think of a country that hasn’t been affected by this. Even in Somalia despite being poor as frick still has modern qualities in the large cities.

China’s taking a good approach by tackling this problem at a national level. Eventually this program won’t even be needed after a generation, because masculine men will raise more masculine men.

I agree 100%. but i always connected the psyche & the physical ability, but never the spirit. I think the psyche is the most important or dominant part. Today we have lots of bodies not matching their spirit & psyche which i think go hand in hand

Good response, I’m just glad you didn’t attack me lol. But it’s true, we eat food that’s not meant for male body. Really for any body. Full of carbs and sugar. Somali people as pastoralist nomads got their food from milk and hilib. This is why they could walk long distance and survive in rough conditions. You see old pictures, and the men and women all looked so strong and healthy! This whole laxoox, sabaayad and pasta etc it’s result of urbanization and colonization.

The second issue is yes, Somali guys are coddled compare to the women both in the west and back home. I mean my cousin who went to Hargeisa too was telling me that guys over there spend most of their day at cafes or outside just chilling. A lot of the hard work or labour is passed on to Bantus or other foreigners or to the women. Even in the US, it’s embarrassing because in every Somali populated city there’s at least 2 Starbucks were Somali guys 40+ took over, meanwhile you’ll never see that among other minorities.

The world bank was fascinated by this phenomenon that they did 77 page study on it, imagine? Where I live, for example you’ll see an Indian, a trained doctor in India but now a tax driver to make ends meet. Meanwhile you have(I know few personally) Somali men that don’t have any formal training and yet feel too good to do many of the jobs they qualify for. Some say F this and go back home...expecting their wife and/or older kids to fund their lifestyle. So yeah, the reason it appears like the majority never lifted a finger is because they haven’t.

Edit: btw Chinese govt is very smart, every country should be battling the feminization of their men.
