At first I congratulated her..like effing 8 years ago when @nucleus was like in elementary..8 years later she is once again lobbied her way to be showered with praises...this is getting pathetic..it is an insult to the Somali nation..are they shocked that she can he from this stock of people ..

Plenty of people praise her on the thread, I'm the only one annoyed. She definitely hasn't recieved a backlash whatsoever.

I was just stating my opinion as she is using the somali name, if she was famous on totally her own merit I would never even be annoyed. if you're from Canada I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from .

She probably thinks everyone came as illiterate qaxooti and are struggling. 15 years ago most Somali Canadians were in compulsory education so I think she just winged it. It's not fair at all and I know that most successful people just get on with life and avoid the.media unless they rely on it for their business. I don't think she's a proud Somali. Wey nagu kor tilaabsaneysaa but at least she's done well. Better than those who have no achievements and slate us every chance they get.
