The Gabiley region could produce enough for all of SL but lack the knowledge, equipment and backing of the govt.Majority of fruits come from all over the world like Egypt,Europe and some fruits even come from Ethiopia.
Why aren't the government investing into farmer that's just sad Somaliland should invest into the country more I mean I see on YouTube people filming how beautiful Hargeisa is from a drone they only show Deero mall and stuff But this isn't the reality

The government should build more roads in the neighbourhoods it's stupid to have rocky roads outside every xafad the firefighters can never reach a burning house in time because of this issue

lol i know what you mean .
i hate the chicken farm smell .
The poultry market is really profitable market especially once more diaspora go back home .some weeks in banadir there are shortage of chicken.
Who hates chicken? I love chicken!!!. Man some of you need to go out and try different food, try to acquire a finer taste for food in life maybe.

:faysalwtf:

Most animals stink more than arabs and Indians packed in one bus on a hot summers day.

Hargeisa already smells from lack of real waste management system, and all the livestock thats running around. If this finally brings good chickem meat to Hargeisa then I'm all for it. Niggas in Hargeisa use to import trash chicken I called it super trash aka ebola chicken and I havent ate chicken in hargeisa ever since. Goat & camel holds me down

Yesterday I walked up to a nicely stocked "supermarket " store besides my place. I decided to look at the poultry they got there and to my horror they got chicken in the freezer thatve changed colors. It said from "Brazil" and I can honestly say that this chicken been traveling in the ocean for a year. It is completely inedible. DISGUSTING!

How is the scenery in Hargeisa.

It'll be a shell shock adeer, once you leave the airport you'll see so much trash, dry shrubs land, skinny malnourished dudes, chicks with niqab (not for deen purpose) and animals on the road.

After a little while of being here you'll get use to it and might even love it.

The countryside is quite and a place to meditate. You can see baboons on the road.

One constant thing I've noticed here is that you quickly get dehydrated. I check my urine as I urinate and it gets darker here. You'll have to drink a lot to have a clear urine. Is it the sun ? Is it the dry harsh environment? Is it the tremendous dust? I don't know

The trash thing I'm not surprised about. A close family friend of mine got deported recently and he sent a whatsapp video to my mother. Showed him and cousins killing a camel and taking out its organs and etc. what bothered me in the video was where it was happening. Camel is just on the ground wide open organs on the ground. All wall being surrounded by some dirt and trash. My response that I sent my mother was " it doesn't look like a sanitary place for that"

Have you met somali speaking foreigners. Like the Syrians pakis or even the Chinese in Somalia. Any of them speak Somali?

The Yemenis easily assimilate into our culture like we were siblings. They communicate in Somali mixed with their Arabic.
