I feel like you and I have had this discussion before, and you perceive any critique of Somali men as an insult. Which it isn’t. So to save us both the back and forth. Maybe it’s better I ask you, what do you think causes people marrying out? Do you think there are any challenges Somali men/women face that might make it harder for them to find each other.

People just have more choice and so date whatever they want. Everyone has access to social media/LinkedIn/dating platforms and so if people wanted to date a Somali they could do it easily. It simply comes down to choice.

I agree to an extent. Everything comes down to perseverance, and where there’s a will there’s a way. But I also think there are logistical issues that make it hard for equally yolked young Somali people to find each other. Problems like this are also faced by the majority white secular communities we live in. I don’t think I’m saying anything new or controversial to point out that the issues that exist in the larger community become more acute and intensely felt in the minority community.

But my main point was - marry who you like so long as it’s halal.

I personally prefer Somali, because I won't feel like a stranger when I'm with her family and also my kids will be full Somali.. If I had half Somali kids they probably wouldn't have our unique ethic Somali look/features and again I wouldn't feel comfortable with kids who don't even look like me or my family.
