Me angry? I don’t easily get angry and I deal with the most difficult clients, I’m cool as a cucumber. Did you see we “godless” people starting threads and attacking the “believers”? It’s always the other way around and what you call “anger” is what we call reasoning and thereby most of them resort to personal attacks and ad hominem. Good idea, take your toilet paper production to Somalia, it will be cheaply produced there, you will create much needed employment for the youth, and most importantly, you will contribute positively to the public health. When I visit Somalia, I will buy it.

I don’t want to talk about familial or personal issues here, but let me say, my dad knows about it, but we don’t discuss it because he has experienced an irreligious period himself as a young student in Europe. He thinks that it’s a phase of my life that would lead me back to Islam. My mum is a Salafi who grew up in Saudi Arabia and we don’t discuss religion at all. My Muslim friends are very respectable of my choice and thereby there is a mutual respect between us. I don’t even comment about Islam on social media except when Somalis here act like they’re holier than though and start dissing those who don’t follow their religion. Even then, I don’t insult their beliefs, but raise serious deficiencies about their “perfect” religion and that’s when all hell breaks loose and they become too hostile. They haven’t learnt yet that respect and tolerance is a two way street and therefore we both are learning the hard way. Thanks for your duca.

In respect to your religion. If a person asks you not to call them a name because it’s offensive, won’t you respect their wish? She is your fellow (Muslim) Somali sister and most of them find “naayaa” to be offensive and isn’t it incumbent on you as a Muslim not to call them “naayaa”? Mise shaatigii ciyaal suuqiinta ayaa isku soo beddeshay?
I say whatever I want guy. Nobody has to like it plus respect in my book is earned, I don’t give out respect like free samples.
