Real change is to overthrow this forever corrupt government and establish a comlete new system never seen before either intelligent leaders who actually wants to see change or expect no change.Hes better than Farmajoo, since he does the basic of stopping ethiopia
Better relationship with the west, which we need to not be balkanized.
General corruption however, refusal to end the SL project by recognizing awdal and ssc, but thats foreign induced.
All in all, development has turbo charged but theres not much you can do when the system is designed to keep somalia what it is, and the federal system preventing real change
Do you think there is a single person in Somalia's political landscape capable of leading Somalia?failed war on AS, first return of piracy in 5 years, in the process of balkanizing somalia, AUSSOM merchant for foreign interference, can’t even get rid of Ethiopian consulate in garowe or Hargeisa while farmaajo PNG UN reps, warcrimes recorded by amnesty international, unmitigated corruption, increased inflation from xamar, “war on AS” and still attacks in the capital, and the highest SNA deathtoll in the last 10 years.
Farmaajo is much better than Hassan. But Hassan isn’t bad if your hawiye. If you like Somalia and want it to be free of all foreign influence. Then hassan wouldn’t be someone’s go to, or anyone like deni or madobe for that matter.
Abukar Osman who was the guy that got arms embargo lifted and always speaks for us with the UN, getting what somalia wants. He goes as far as to go in front of an audience of thousands of Somali students. To apologize on behalf of greedy Somali politicians who failed them in providing opportunities within Somalia. An action which shows humility and selflessness. And…Do you think there is a single person in Somalia's political landscape capable of leading Somalia?
Agreed, we need someone who actually cares. Thats something missing from presidents these days. Competent one too. He's mainly bad, because of his corruption and qabilism.
However, he has done some good stuff too.
Overall, he is not what Somalia needs, especially right now.
We need a wadani, who is smart and can bring thr country together. A tough man who fights corruption and destroys Al Shabaab.
Yeah HSM is pretty horrible, I agree. He is insanely corrupt. During the previous administration, they successfully lowered Somalia's corruption index. What happened when HSM came back? He dismantled the anti-corruption body and Somalia's corruption ranking increased lol. And of course you remember that Somali runner fiasco. Disgusting nepotism.HSM is the worst president in Somali history according to my honest assessment. Here's why:
- Easily the most corrupted; the UN once accused him of stealing the aid money over a100m and provided the transactions between him and an American bank in Maryland, USA. Reuters reported it. https://www.reuters.com/article/wor...piracy-to-divert-somali-assets-idUSKBN0FL072/ He's the president with most assets in all of Somalia's history, before the presidency he was a professor at a local University in Mogadishu and now he's rich with residential estates in Mogadishu and several foreign countries. Where did he got the money?! The previous Central bank chief of Somalia quit after only seven weeks in the job, alleging she had been pressured to accept arrangements she believed would open the door to corruption. https://www.reuters.com/article/wor...wests-ties-to-somali-president-idUSBREA1D08P/
- He doesn't have the foresight or the military intellect and strategy to defeat or eradicate AS. Farmaajo was no saint but at least he was trying to build a proper military first before a fully fledged engagement with AS but HSM immediately started the fight without insufficient planning, strategy and logistics support. He failed miserably, caused the deaths of thousands of servicemen and gave a huge boost to AS ranks and their military strength in the process (he admitted that earlier this year).
- His foreign policy is atrocious. How many countries did he sign an agreement with?! Eritrea, Ethiopia, UAE, Qatar, Kenya, Turkey and the UK. What happened to those agreements?! Were they presented, discussed and eventually passed the parliament?! Nope.
- His hastiness to pass his own constitution puts the future of this struggling nation at risk. "Loo Joojin Maa" policy is a hawkish erratic and irresponsible policy that could irreversibly fracture what's left of this country. Even prominent Hawiye politicians like Sharif, AAW, Khaire and Abdulqadir Osoble voiced their opposition to his reckless plans. Why is he adamant to pass this constitution?! It's all about the next election and nothing else. HSM doesn't care about the well-being and the future of his people, instead his constitutional plans are all about securing another term with a farcical election that's going to happen in Hawiye regions only.
- His words mean NOTHING; he's currently opposed to most of his previous stances. There are hundreds of before and after videos online where he contradicts his previous stances. Churlish behaviour.
- HSM is no leader; a good leader would do whatever it takes to unite his people. A good leader would heal the deep wounds of this ailing nation. A good leader would put his entire efforts in creating a constitutional document that's accepted by all stakeholders. A good leader wouldn't loot and plunder his poor country's resources. A good leader won't practice nepotism, tribalism, favouritism, blatant corruption, bribery, criminality, fraudulence and deceit in his tenure.

I know right. Somali leaders simply aren't knowledgeable enough to run a country so rhe max should be 3 years with each. I don't know why a couple hasn't happened already.Set a term limit so these leeches can't infect for more then 8 years.
