Imo I think sland independence goals seem silly atm, we could have gone down a different route and frankly our leaders in the past were never quite serious about independence hence why we missed so many chances.

It is but it's independence is currently worthless, we should've been a country long ago and as the years go by this is looking like a dead horse that no matter how much you flog it won't move.

All I'm saying is we should be logical about what's best, and what's best is somalis uniting when the time is ripe. The time isn't ripe now but pursuing recognition from Ethiopia is almost as bad as somalia trying and failing to remove Al kebab even today.

To be recognised as a country, you need other countries to recognise you as such. No one does. Not a single state or international institution. Hence the lack of a lander flag on the keyboard, or anywhere outside Hargesia

Because there's no Somaliland flag emoji means weren't actually independent but the western sahara who's recognized by dozens or so countries but its leaders are living in refugee camps in the deserts of Algeria makes them be independent because their flag is on the keyboard ?? boy go back playing on whatever pc game you are into now and leave political discussion to adults

Eritrea is way better currently. It's a stable and politically united state with a great millitary, by african standards. Sland army is wearing flip flops it cannot compare itself to anyone except the fgs.

Somaliland is just another clan state to me, after what they do to people in the east of it's "country" who themselves want self determination. If Sland was a recognised state it would be not much better than Somalia on the poverty list.

K5 has been given away by Somalia and also tribilism has ruined the political system there so don't blame Addis Ababa for everything that happens in that region when is the political leaders and their followers who have led that place to be the way it is now.
