The only it terrifies me is if we do not have compatible personalities. I like to monologue so if she cant listen or even hold a conversation then i would feel trapped in a box.
I would rather stay incel tbh. Your idea of a good marriage sounds like hellHaving a one-foot-in-one-foot-out perspective on marriage means you will forever be fearful, half-hearted and self-protective. Once you are in one why not give it your best and resign the rest to God. At least, you knew you had capacity to love, were brave enough to and diligent enough to work systematically on your marriage. Despite what happens. There is nothing wrong with preparation. What is sort of sad is the perspective that it is doomed to failure. So don't put in too much effort.
The only thing I would advise is doing your due diligence prior to marriage. Some rush into the unknown without asking critical questions. I have seen people delude themselves into thinking someone would change and they never did. Or had major incompatibility. On things such as geography (with zero desire to relocate), whether to have children, child rearing or divergent future goals/plans.
At least you keep itI would rather stay incel tbh
