Is There Any Scholar That Can Match The Legacy Of Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah?

who are these people and what are these bidahs?
It is an extremely long list but you can read some of them here

It is a natural consequence of the Najdi dawah being 300 years old that they must rely on the giants of the past. This is why some of them cope by saying giants like Imam Nawawi 'made some mistakes but we take from him'

How many times did his scholarly opponents put him in jail and slandered him?

Even after he lead the muslims to victory against the mongols they still threw him in jail

Ibn Taymiyyah never actually led any army nor even a contingent against the Mongols or anyone else. He wrote about rallying the Muslims and may have participated in some fighting. But the man who actually fought and defeated the Mongols at Ayn Jalut was Al Qutuz and he was Ashari and so was his teacher al 'Izz Ibn Abdul Salam. Just some facts

He led the defense of Damascus and issued several fatawas encouraging muslims to fight the mongols.

Ibn Taymiyya at this time began giving sermons on jihad at the Umayyad mosque.[81] As the civilians began to flee in panic; Ibn Taymiyya pronounced fatwas declaring the religious duty upon Muslims to fight the Mongol armies to death, inflict a massive defeat and expel them from Syria in its entirety.[88] Ibn Taymiyya also spoke to and encouraged the Governor of Damascus, al-Afram, to achieve victory over the Mongols.

Unrelated but who’s the shiekh in your profile pic and was he a follower of the athari creed?

I’m misguided for following the quran and sunnah with the understanding of the 3 best generations?

Aqeedah is the most important thing. Why should I add innovation and bidah (sufism) and philosophy (ashari) to my beliefs?
You can't debate with people without philosophy, unless you think there's a manual with a list of responses for every question..., philosophy is thinking and if you're afraid of thinking then you are just dumb.

respectfully you don’t know what your talking about. Imam shafii one of the greatest imams had this to say about philosophy

Imam al-Shafi'i said:

"None has taken upon himself al-Kalâm and succeeded!"

[Source: Damm al-Kalâm 4:285 no.1130]

From Imam al-Shafi'i is also narrated:

"People did not become ignorant nor differed except after their abandonment of the Arabic language and their inclination to the language of Aristoteles!"
