I know many people who regret going to uni and now have a big debt on their shoulders. I mean isn't it better to work from a young age while you live with your parents and invest your savings into a small business? My parents want me to go uni but that is not what I want, my teacher went to uni and got his ACCA he wears the same ripped suit everyday bs I rather work and save

Yes, it is worth it. Although it might be difficult to get a job it still gives you options and opens doors and opportunities. Don't worry so much about student loans you will only pay them back once you can afford it and get a good well paid job. Also, bear in mind that education plays a big role in this day and age and most jobs require a degree. Just make sure you study something that is worth it

- Get a STEM degree
- Do a year in industry whilst in university.
- Get as many scholarships and U/G schemes as possible. Plenty of companies are willing to pay for a part of your degree and give you summer internships.

I don't think studying in UAE is worth it. It is expensive and the quality of education is just alright. It actually depends on the person and what he is studying. If you have وسطاء , then finding a job will become easier. Not so sure. That's why I am looking to study abroad. And the place where you get your degree from, like for example UK, can help you land a job.

I am confused by your post tbh. What are you afraid of? Does the possibility of having a boring and repetitive job bother you, or is it the prospect of ending up in a low paying job (with considerable debt)?

Also take all advice with a grain of salt. Most people on the internet do not know what they are talking about.

u westers have it easy nothing is handed to us with a gold plate

How expensive is university in your country, it is not free right?

:ohhh:
:dwill:
You know what I'm moving to Denmark. School is free and they give y'all $1000 a month. Say no more.

That's the life right there.
:banderas:
I'm tired of paying $30,000 a year just for tuition.
:mjcry:
:snoop:

And I get to live in a dorm for 300 dollars rent with my own apartment, and we get a million free educational programs and all the reduced pay because you are a student :manny:

Only down-side is that you have to buy books for 500 dollar each semester :damedamn:

30.000 $?!!!!! :damn::deadpeter: I thought that was a joke :dead:

Really, what do you get for it?:drakewtf: If paid that kind of money I better have 200.000 $ as my entry level job, my own palace and at least 4 privat tutors from Yale and Harvard. My dorm better be plated in gold plates :dwill:

i want to be my own boss. like my father but my father has the money to pay for my uni but he says i should not rely on him for anything except food and shelter. his father did the same to thing to him. i dont mind working 8 to 7 for the first few years and i dont think i can learn sitting in a classroom and pay shitloads of money

No unfortunaely it's not a joke I actually thought it was pretty cheap because my first two years I was paying more than $40,000.
:kendrickcry:
And I didn't have my own place I shared with 2 other girls.
:jcoleno:
If you took your loans through the government you have 6 months after you graduate to start paying it back. If you took it through a private bank you have to start paying it back right away.
:snoop:
Long live socialist countries.
