26 years since the civil war started and nothing has changed. Is somalia beyond redemption, should the international community abandon the somalis to their own and let them whither away into irrelevance and misery.

Alot of countries go through war and strife but they shake it off and get on with it, what makes the somalis so incapable of building a civilised society?

Darood and Hawiye Somalis are incapable because they do not see the bigger picture. They cannot let go of old ways and traditions and modernise. They have not industrialised under the rule of barre so they are still where they are at in the 70s etc.

Qabyaalad has poisoned Somalia. Every country has qabiil, yet Somalia and Somalis take that shyt so seriously :susp:

Take qabiil seriously brehs/walaalayaal :mjlol:

Have an orange beard and talk about qabiils in coffee shops brehs/walaalayaal until closing time while your kids are making music videos for Drake to notice them :mjlol:

Think your qabiil is the best brehs/walaalayaal :mjlol:

If we put qabyaalad aside Somalia might make a comeback being down 3-1 :damnmusic:

:bell:You're talking about the bigger picture when you prefer the enemy over your own people. You're the one who wants to secede and abandon. For what reason? Tribalism, and you have the nerve to talk about progress.

As in the global economic and political climate.

If Somalis took their chance at reconciliation 26 years ago, we would have surpassed Ethiopia in GDP with our natural resources, and had a stable government. Yet Somalis were trapped in their own little world and carried on like they have always been doing.

It's always doomy and gloomy huh? Of course we have some way to go for Somalia but truth is we have made a lot of progress in just 10 yrs, be optimistic for once, and in my opinion Qabyaalad is pretty much dead in Somalia (except PL/SL) and the proof of that is this previous election.

We can see the light at the end of of a long and dark tunnel.

Nothing will stop us from reaching the light.

When random people are dying because of clan militia cross fires? Quit lying. Qabyaalad is alive and well. I could never step foot in Xamar and you know it. Xamar gets all the aid and it's an unsafe nightmare. Snap out of it.

:comeon: Thats a damn lie. Xamar is the least qabilist city in Somalia. The young people there were mostly happy for the win of farmaajo which wouldn't happen elsewhere if he wasn't from the qabil of the people of that city. And about the Aid, isn't a hospital being opened today in PL. The aid going to SL has been stopped because of allegations of corruption. PL and Galmudug are both getting aid as well. The other region's in the south are insecure with AS posing a risk.

Wallahi this @horumar fella is a hypocrite. He's complaining about Somali politics & our inability to progress and yet he supports tribalism through advocating SL secessionism.

Dont bother quoting Gambar, She is anti Hawiye and Anti Southern Somalia and hates anyone from that region. I have seen her posts lately and its astounding as to how she can harbor so much hate..

Yall are making it seem like we're never gonna get out of this. Resource sharing agreements have been made, the army is being assembled, state building is going on. We just need is to improve our security , take out AS and the coming years will be rocky but will only going up. There is some inter clan disputes between states but once the Federal gov't gains more power it will be able to control the conflicts.

The only thing stopping Xamar is literally Al-Shabaab, once they are cleansed out then it shall prosper and resume to be the development and economical capital of Somalia.

Inter Qabil will stop fighting once the government obtains more power and should be able to control and up its security

I'm Pro Puntland but i have to admit Gambar is a little too radical for me, i have respect for my brothers in Southern Somalia and i hope they will fix their problems so we can unite

Qabyaalad has a limited effect on Somalia's current predicament. The main reason is that we pissed off to many foreign entities that don't want Somalia to rise out the ashes since we most likely will turn the region into chaos once we are sovereign again. Also because of our blessed/cursed location; bigger powers don't want a sovereign Somalia having the power to pick sides in global factions.

Haven't got an answer to solve this but I can guarantee that just simple Qabyaalad hasn't got the power to do the damage that politicians and warlords bribed by foreign agents could do. Don't blame Ethiopia and etc though. Kudos to them for keeping their competitors down.

Hawiye VS Darood war to Hawiye electing a Marexaan president, if u still say we are Qabyaalad, ur being dishonest and delusional, I'm denying the fact we have some bad apples amongst us but ur lying trying to make it seem like there's no progress
