Most of my friends are either Isaaq or Darood and they are all Unionist, they want Somalia as a whole to prosper and Qablayaad to die out.

I am hoping for each regions to fix there problems so that we can all go back one day to the mother land.

But some of the comments in this site I am seeing it seems like we are sworn enemies and that we are destined to fight forever..
You can't make Somalia prosper until you hold warlords accountable and those that still living in a land / property owned by another.

People are changing and no one can deny that significant of farmaajo 'S winning this election. southern had rejected the tribalism here and now it is north turn to do the same.

Wallahi this @horumar fella is a hypocrite. He's complaining about Somali politics & our inability to progress and yet he supports tribalism through advocating SL secessionism.
:snoop:

@Araman

Supporting SL independence is tribalism? Bisimillah

Supporting SL independence is the opposite of qabyaalad. SL is not one qabiil. Dir iyo Darood aya ku nool somaliland

Somaliland independence will actually mean progress, since they aren't inhibited by the inability of the government in the south, and looking back at the history, it was the government in the south that hindered progress to the north.

In that case, by you denying us independence, then does that mean the political establishment in Somalia is plagued with qabyaalad in itself?

Also, Somalia is part of the whole qabyaalad problem. 4.5 formula and a federal system goes against somalinimo in itself and promotes qabyaalad

Yall are making it seem like we're never gonna get out of this. Resource sharing agreements have been made, the army is being assembled, state building is going on. We just need is to improve our security , take out AS and the coming years will be rocky but will only going up. There is some inter clan disputes between states but once the Federal gov't gains more power it will be able to control the conflicts.

Who will take the resources?
Who will control the army?

There is no system that checks the balance of power in Somalia, which will inevitably lead to more war.

You guys think That a country could just bounce of after a civil war like nothing happened. When there's a civil war the core of the country is effected I wouldn't be surprised if it takes 20 more years until the country is back on it's feet

26 years since the civil war started and nothing has changed. Is somalia beyond redemption, should the international community abandon the somalis to their own and let them whither away into irrelevance and misery.

Alot of countries go through war and strife but they shake it off and get on with it, what makes the somalis so incapable of building a civilised society?

Somalia won't ever change unless you remove all the puppets and elders who use qabil as a political tool from power.
Oh yeah... f*ck AlKebab and Wahabishit puppets.

In that sense you should support SL because it bounced from 2 civil wars.

In Somalia we are still stuck in part 1. There is a problem, but what is the problem?
What are the solutions to fix the problem?
Yes the problem is more than 1 but are you finding all the problem?

That many countries have gone through civil war and "have bounced like nothing happened".
Somalia is different from "many" of these countries u speak of, our foreign neighbors dont want a centralized government, they see it as a threat, so they pay and cater to local warlords and fund them to keep them undermining Somalia, tell me where these countries who "bounced back" u speak of had this type of foreign interferences?

We literally have foreign piss poor countries who make a living from the international community donors by staying in our country.

We have some blame on ourselves too but for u to think its as simple as to just bounce back as easy as u make it out to be is foolish and ignorant, we have UAE/US/Turkey/AU/EU/UK training Somali soldiers on there own agenda ffs, only one i can trust out of all of them is probably Turkey, just a few weeks ago there was a skirmish between the UAE trained Somali soldiers and NISA i believe, now tell me if Rwanda/Congo/Burundi suffered/sufferes the same fate.

Somalia inkaar baa ku dacdhay. We're living like the pagan Arabs in the 7th century except they actually stopped being jaahils after becoming Muslim. Somali's have never stopped and you can never say anything about certain issues without being called a qabiilist.

That young, miskiin wasiir being killed is further proof that we're still in the dumps. Somalia has a loooong way to go and there are problems everywhere walahi, but the capital needs extra care because it/is/the/capital. Insha Allah Somalia will get better, I don't have much hope it will be in our lifetimes though.

The entire former Yoguslavia. Slovenia became an EU country, Serbia and Bosnia are candidates. Eritrea and Ethiopia had the bloodiest war in Africa. All in early nineties, all bounced back :francis:

Good post. We gone past the first, everyone knows there is a problem, the issue is with were the problem lies, if you get this wrong! your screwed and there is no chance to fix this, think of it as your car that has broken down on a country side road and your all alone, if you don't know were the problem is, your screwed, even if you have all the tool boxes to fix it.

Once you find the source of the problem and how the powers that be use this, you can then educate the populace, this is a long/hard process all you need is around minimum 20% to be awake to educate the rest.

This is the awakening stage which takes the longest, until the person can see the grand plan in play, he will forever be blind/confused with local issues (hence used as a dupe) you have many of them on SSPOT in the west, the so called educated class openly supporting mass murders and criminals even proclaiming Ethiopia/Israel as our friends.

The awakening stage when complete takes away the biggest element of destabilisation used against us which are the dupes in your own society, in the form of al-shabab/ISIS/Qabiilist groups etc. it also takes away the reactionary element when an ignoramus insults your clan/state/leader etc because you see the greater goals and are not triggered into a knee jerk response which exacerbates the problem.

We are currently slowly moving towards the awakening state from my estimation having been part of Somali forums for more then a decade, the scary thing is that the people on the ground back home are moving much quicker toward this phase then the confused diaspora, it's a slow process, but inshaallah we are getting there.

You can't compare any of the African countries to us, none of them had neighbours like Ethiopia/Kenya arch enemies, on top of this the entire Khaleeji country as well as being designated as the 7 countries they will take out! being the only country on that list without a government.
