I was pissed that Gen. Morgan wasn't elected to the senate last year. I too thought it was better not to elect the old guard who played a major role in the civil war until I saw Hawiyes electing their warlords like Muuse Yalaxow, Qanyare and Qeybdiid and Isaaqs elected Muuse Biixi.

If there ever is reconciliation in Somalia, you can bet he will be taken to trial sxb if he's still alive at that time. The evidence against him is pretty overwhelming.
The fact that Reer Puntland didn't elect him speaks highly of you guys. Continue this and use it to differentiate yourselves.
If Somaliland had elected someone like Ahmed Mireh or Dhagaweyne to the presidency you'd have a stronger case for hypocrisy, but I take your point regadless.

I am not talking from my clans perspective. Muuse Yalaxow and Muuse Biixi did not harm MJs however they did harm other clans and had a leading role in armed conflicts.
Ina Mire and Dhagaweyne poisoned our wells and massacred many innocent nomads in Mudug, and they are celebrated heroes in your ends. I don't even rate Morgan but I applaud how he stood up and defended Kismayo from blood thirsty rogue hawiye rebels.
What happened in Mudug to the nomads was despicable full stop. It is the bane of hypocrisy that some Isaaqs celebrate him but simulatenously cry about Morgan and '88.
There is a lot of people with blood on their hands on all sides from all the major clans. Allah knows best and they will all be accountable for their actions on the last day.

Yea As I said, I am not a fan of Morgan either, however he did redeem himself a bit in 1991-1993.
He's a bad politician and because of his shortcomings in politics, MJs lost the leadership over Kismayo
