We, the majority of Somalilanders decided to unite with Somalia in 1960 when we could've had our own country, and then we, the majority came and took back what we brought to Somalia, no asking no long talk. Dumb post. Somaliland was recognized as an independent country on June 26, 1960 by the UN and all members of the UN Security council while Somalia was still an Italian colony. The independent recognized country of Somaliland out of love for Somali people united(unofficially)with the Italian colony of Somalia Italiana on July 1st 1960. In this illegal union they formed The Somali Republic. The same good people of Somaliland who united Somaliland and Somalia in 1960 decided to end that union in 1991, even the official name Somali Republic or Somali Democratic Republic changed back to pre-union names, Somaliland and Somalia. So keep your Somalia and I will keep my Somaliland. I don't care what qabiil lives where mate, that's what you lot care about because you're full of cuqdad and hate towards Somaliland.
