Places like London and Paris have always been ghetto, it’s just that the media image of posh queen and Big Ben and Paris Eiffel Tower is constantly bombarded to rest of the world so we think it’s like that, when they’re just like every other big major city (poverty, crime and inequality)

Like when I first went to London i thought the central part was amazing but the neighborhoods i stayed in (family) reminded me of some ghetto parts of Toronto. London wasn’t exactly worse, just not what I expected. On the contrary, if you visit some North American cities you’ll be expecting ghettoness so your expectation isn’t sky high. Except from LA, people always have high standards for that place cause of Hollywood but it’s truly the most gaajo place in the world

In Canada we have other cities surrounding Toronto and the GTA to go to, but even they are are like 6 hours away sometimes, and they’re still in the same province/state, but in the UK you can travel 3 hours and be in opposite side of the country, so put your money where your mouth is and leave.
