It's a mediterranean look which is North African and Italian, but some Somalis already have this skin color and hair color. What changes is eye color

Stop identifying yourself as that it will not help get a head in any manner. Matter of fact it will degrade your Somali identity. For instance once you have Children in American will you tell them they are black or Somali? This is casecadeing effect your grandchildren may one day tell your there not Somali but just black. And you knowing that you identified as black but you knew your Somali and your son get confused and tell his children there black. Now you have lost the Somali identity also your deen. A half Somali half cadaan can have coloured eyes and lighter hair creating the more mixed look. Which is what some cadaans want but they go for madows cuz they think it’s the only way to get that.

Darkskins and lightskins with type 4 hair usually accept and claim the black label.

Darkskins with jileec hair say they are only Somali.

Then the lightskins who ALSO have jileec hair always try to claim Arab heritage 😂
