That’s also something I wanted to talk about. Muslims are always in the comments of Somali influencers like chunkz and Halima Aden talking about Somali women not wearing the hijab and Somali influencers not talking about Palestine enough…like what? Let me play devils advocate: this issue also happens within our community. So many Somali men obsesses over non bw & a few of our athletes marry out as well. Their ceel is valid imagine seeing all your eligible bachelors choosing others due to self hatred. I’m also a firm believer of not supporting men who don’t marry within our community. There’s a new Somali bakery that opened up near me; I found out the guy married a cadan & decided not support the business anymore

I agree with u. I used to be more of a person who didnt care if some1 married out but now i feel like its better for the money to stay in the community. Especially for the rich 1s in the community
