I definitely agree with what the OP said, however, some people seem take things overboard. It is completely impossible to move the capital, Mogadishu is the white pearl of the Indian Ocean. It's where major governmental institutions are based. It is the home of all Somalis, no matter what Qabiil you're from. It was once the jewel of the Ajuraan Sultanate.

SFG won't be able to control Mogadishu anytime soon.

There are too many warlords still living in the city that have a stake in the current chaos.

Move the capital some place else and the federal security apparatus could control and monitor every inch of the new capital without butting heads with warlords.

I say let the people in banadir have thier own autonomous region and run it how they see fit. We dont need a capital. Perhaps, a district should be set a side for federal institutions. SFG should only be responsible for foreign affair iyo defense once the constitution is ratified. Heck, we dont even need the useless paliarment in xamar. We should have a council where each region sends a delagate for national matters. Everything else is handled by regional parliaments.
