This is going to be horrible. I expect 20k causalities within the first day or something like that judging from the Tigray war.
Also the Turkish offered full military intervention, but HSM’s side of the axis US/UK/UAE refused any and all intervention.

The overwhelming majority of troops in Ethiopia's current ATMIS contingent are from the Tigray region. Abiy had pulled out most of the other ethnic groups in AMISOM at the time for his campaign into the Tigray during 2021. The remaining Tigray soldiers were left behind in Somalia far away from the conflict in northern Ethiopia.
If this is true than hopefully this pushes the US and EU to fully support us
Somalia should position itself to become the number one US ally in the horn
Positioning ourselves as an US ally in the region could help us get Galbeed in the event that Ethiopia Balkanizes
To be expected,
Russia is a BRICS ally of Ethiopia. Whilst Somalia is in the US EU camp, and has been for decades. Their support doesn’t add any value to this MOU, all in verbatim.
But isn’t Russia too busy dealing with their war in Ukraine? I doubt that they’ll put much effort in supporting Ethiopia
What we should be worried about is if China openly supports this deal. They have the resources and capacity to help Ethiopia in a meaningful way
As of now, China hasn’t supported Ethiopia but we’ll have to wait and see what the CCP will do in the future
And you forget Russia’s biggest horn ally is Eritrea, they are trying to get base there and Eritrea definitely don’t want Ethiopia in the Red Sea
Let’s see how bad they really want that port 
Garguurte is expected to travel to Rome this weekend to take part in the Italy-Africa summit which will also host Abiy. I would not be surprised if this spineless bounder meets Abiy on the sidelines of this summit before Ethiopia retracts it's MOU with SL.
