Muslim men should look Muslim.

Is it right for Muslim women to be attacked in public for looking Muslim but Muslim men are just blending in?

This doesn't sit well with me.

Both genders should look and behave like Muslims in public.

Do you know how many Muslim women have been assaulted and bullied in public? May Allah protect all hijabis and men who actually look Muslim in public.
Well most of the criteria for modesty for men is already done by us. Men don't have such strict rules for appearance that women do.

Women have strict rules because it's for their own benefit, society treats women differently to men because women are different to men. Simple.

I'm not really sure why you think men aren't doing enough.

Which poses the argument; do Muslim men really know what the Islamic dress code is?
there is no specific kind of clothing a man is supposed to were
most of what u mentioned up there is done by man without their knowledge even because it’s not that definitive
Stop always trying to make a man and a women equal And saying that men also should do what women does or something similar
We weren’t created they same so don’t expect us to do things similar things
All this feminist qashin inside ur head that men in women should be equal in every possible way is wrong

I rarely where these in town to flex on them kafir niggas
U can wear everything in Metropoles

I agree, they should be covering their awra to but everyone is so busy policing women that they forget there is a criterion for men to follow and adhere to as well.
They should follow the example of the prophet just as we follow the words of the prophet.
I agree. Everyone knows that women should wear Hijab but you also need to lower your gaze.

Piggybacking off @BlackJack 's topic. I realised something.

Muslim women in the West are literally the only face of Islam.

Most Muslim men don't wear their trousers above their ankle and don't have an obvious Muslim appearance. You will see them out on beaches with their private parts exposed; they display their thighs and the "V area" in public. They dress and carry themselves exactly like non-Muslim men, but they also seem to police Muslim women.

Why not be brave and look openly Muslim?

@Finesse All points valid, but Hijaab is on a separate level than Men's dressing. You have to acknowledge the beauty of Womanhood. Its no competition matter. No equality debate either. Hijaab is good for women, not the pleasure of men. Its a protection from men. You don't hear Men needing protection from women do you? Why? Because women are inferior to men, and can survive or die at the mercy of men. (and ALL universe can die or survive at the mercy of Allaah swt of course, goes without saying) LOOOOL i Know u dont like me, but i dont care. I speak as i find, if it triggers you to orgasm, well thank me later LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Why is everyone so defensive in this thread? Don't dress like rappers and wear tight shirts is a bare minimum requirement and if you can't do that, I don't see how you can police others.

We all ask for protection from God so it is no suprise that we'll die at the mercy of allah not a human istaqfurullah.
BTW what do you mean, 'You have to acknowledge the beauty of Womanhood.' are you coming out as lesbian rn? :bell: :ftw9nwa: :mjlol:

We are equal before ALLaah swt. Allaah swt is not going to give u extra points for being a man. However, in Surah Maryaam--- Allaah swt did vocalize it

But when she gave birth (mother of Maryaam), she said, ‘My Lord! I have given birth to a girl’ - God knew best what she had given birth to: the male is not like the female (wa laysa adh-dhakaru kal unthâ). ‘I name her Mary and I commend her and her offspring to Your protection from the rejected Satan.’” Qur’an 3:36

Of course.... a male is not like a female.... they are biologically different. That does not mean one is superior to another.

What are you trying to prove? The two genders are not equal but they are meant to compliment eachother not claim superiority which Allah himself has not given.
