I can't think of one telenovela star that hasn't gone under the knife. They are totally ok with modifying their features to look better. It's in no way frowned upon. Brazil and Columbia are number one and two for the most plastic surgery procedures performed globally. Liposuction and breast implants being among the most sought-after procedures. And in these countries, girls in their early teens are getting work done. Latin America is very permissive of body modification and sexual expression, as well.
