First of all qabil is not Arab hierarchies. The clan groupings of the Somali people are important social units, and clan membership plays a central part in Somali culture and politics. Clans are patrilineal and are often divided into sub-clans, sometimes with many sub-divisions. Nothing to do with arabs very authentically somali. This how survived in the harsh desert land of somalia by relying on clans.

Get your facts right, Wether clan founders were kunte kinte or sandy arab or a native somali does not matter nor hold any importance in the formation of somali clan identity and clan structure. Or else you woudlnt have Somali sub Clan names rather than arab heck some clans have the name ''Waaq'' in it the like some majerteen clans have. Clans are very much somali thing, it existed before islam.and it still exists today

Why are idiots always trying to push for some sort of western form of nationalism? Islam comes before clan. Clan comes before Somali. Somali comes before being African..A wise individual would instead take everything that makes up the Somali identity and incorporate it into Somalinimo.

If somali intellectuals knew what true Somalinimo actually means , Somalia would have been prospering long time ago.Somalinimo does not mean Western Form Of nationalism, which you people always confuse it for.True Somalinimo is authentically somali that includes Clannism.
