I thought conservative and liberal were just idealogy not what side of govt their in such as ruling.or opposition. Some say it roots back to left sitting on the left side of the chamber and the right on the right side chamber. Possibly true but they do root back to idealogical differences about the function and role of the state even tho it's evolved with identity politics due to demographic changes.

The left they say represent the masses or working class and those who want a strong govt, while the right represents the wealthy elites interest, and weaken govt crowd, they say it started it like that but other interest groups and reforms have taken place it has evolved over time.with alliances inside of it with the right accommodating religious ppl, anti illegals, while the left has taken on immigrants and minorities as a strong base.

Their no idealogy in Somalia, it's at best an ethno nationalist state(diinta, dalka, dadka), that's identity politics not idealogical politics. At worst it's a clan democracy even Israel is a Jewish democracy first not idealogical, that's secondary.
