Dr Osman let us repounder your logics and mathematical methods. According to you Mogadishu has an area of 91 km2 and with a household of 8 people they have at maximum 1.6 Million citizens. So in other words: There are 17852 citizens/km2. Let us use the same method u used for xamar now for Puntland and SL.
PL: Area_PL= Bosaaso + Garoowe + Galkacyo (let's be generous and give you have of it) = 14.5+10.6+8.5= 33.6 km2
Citizens of Puntland's major cities:
33.6 × 17582 = 590,755 citizens
SL: Area_SL= Hargeysa+Burco+Berbera = 76.9 + 25.6+9.3= 111.8 km2
Citizens of SL's (only Isaaq) Major cities :
111.8 × 17582 = 1,965,667 citizens

All your measurements are leaving out areas albeit less dense populated, but it still yield the same result. Some cities like Kismaayo, gaalkacyo, berbera, bosaaso are alot smaller in yours
Bosaaso is small. It cant expand past mountains. I think Baydhabo is larger or same size

Mudane I just bosted city size, your Dr bosted about population densities are same. You can tweak dem few Squares kms how you wanted it wont change much. If we use doctors abbroach then maybe you can argue puntland beople live on top of eachother so we can't count how many. Wooow density population

regarding Bosaso why do ppl make it out to be small? you leave out a lot of settlement if you actually check up close enough which is not a hard thing to do.
this is not the first time idoors like @Juuqbuuqluuq try to compare Bosaso and Burco, but Burco is irrelevant and not comparable to Bosaso. Here is the amount of light that come out of Burco vs Bosaso from the same height.

you can also see how large burco district is compared to Bosaso but Bosaso is more densely populated. Like comparing burtinle and erigavo vs Marka they look about the same but we know which one is bigger when Marka is densely populated.
