So if we we were to join Oromia it will be surrounded by Oromia state from the West, North, and East. Oromos will urbanise en masse there. And even overtake it eventually and turn it into a chartered city.

Oromia will also now share a border with Somalia specifically Borama, which I hear already has an oromo problem. This will no doubt get worse. The GB lands within Oromia will flood with oromos and become Oromo speakers in no time at all like the GB in Gurum and Jinacsani have already become.

Reer baabili have been through this sxb they regret their decision greatly and their city is now shared with oromos from deep within Oromia. I heard even their ugaas was wounded in a skirmish between them and Oromo settlers. Don’t make the same mistake as them, an extra MP and or new road isn’t worth loosing parts of your territory permanently and needing a translator to speak to your own clansmen

Jigjiga is not our problem. Oromos seek out large urban cities. In Ethiopia we only have small towns and villages dotted all over the place where over 90% of our land is under cultivation. We settle almost every corner and inch of our land. Not to mention the most heavily armed GB subclans live in Ethiopia unlike most of the disarmed subclans across the border. We also don't border any ethnic Oromos either but Jaarso mostly and others.

And what can some Masakiin Oromo do in Borama bro. They're just a nuisance and not a major problem. I'm sure Hargeisa definitely has a bigger Oromo population but we barely hear anything on the media about them.

Gadabursi have a big bargaining chip. I don't understand the comparisons with the clans that didn't have much to offer. We have sea access which Oromos definitely want a stake in.

Google Maps is unreliable for the Somali Region, Google simply accepts changes recommended by Oromo nationalists.

Here is a good example:
According to google maps, Salaxaad is 60 km inside Bale Zone

This is the map that best approximates what the borders are like in Fafan. Oromia simply want to implement the results of the 2024 referendum. This will result in many exclaves and enclaves. Lafo Ciise was always going to be the border. The Jaarso near there voted for Oromia in 2004. This is also why Oromia think they have a right to Marar as the Jaarso outnumbered the Geri there in the 2004 vote.
