I understand the concerns surrounding Oromo expansionism and tons of undocumented migrants flooding into Somali regions. I don't think most people are saying turn a blind eye and tolerate it or taking issue with safe, legal deportations. The problem is people whipping up Oromo-hate and demonising an entire ethnic group. Someone a few posts before me called them "vermin" and got many upvotes. People are posting tiktoks and twitter posts of Oromo nationalists saying problematic things to paint a certain picture of them and incite further hatred and suspicion. These are dangerous sentiments that don't align with our morals and values. Which, by the way, come from our religion and not "the liberal West".

There's never a justification for dehumanising an entire group of people.

What's dehumanising about pointing out some facts

1. Oromos are part of ISIS (along with Arabs)
2. Oromos are illegals in Somalia
3. Oromos tend to be unemployed and engage in begging and loiter around streets
4. In Ethiopia, Oromos use government backing/military to rob and displace ethnic Somalis
5. Oromos have already taken over large swathes of land that belongs to Somalis
6. Ethiopia was sea access and will do anything they can to do so
7. Oromo cannibals have been arrested in Somalia
8. Oromos engage in stealing Somali children


After all this and I am sure more, all we ask for and want is for Oromos to be deported on sight. They have no legal or moral precedent to be in Somalia.

Legal Foreigners

Oromos and other foreigners with a LEGAL RIGHT (aka an employer) are already in Somalia and their employers vouch for them. Along with Arabs and other foreigners who are engaged in work. These kind tend to work on farms or run other businesses with A LEGAL PERMIT. For example, the odd few Ethiopian restaurants you see.

As for the ISIS/Bosaso/Mountain threat:

In Bosaso, people would get threatening phone calls and be attacked if they did not pay tax to ISIS. Who do you think is in charge of spying on people? Of course they will disguise their agents as 'homeless', because who else has time to be on the streets to watch people all day. Puntland's military found paperwork trail in the mountains that exposed how they ran their operations.

Ethiopians and Arabs enter Somalia to join ISIS- that's already been exposed. But what about the ones who come for 'other reasons' such as migrating to Arab countries? Whilst they wait to tahriib there, do you think unemployed "miskeen' Ethiopians would turn down a check to do some criminal acts? Even broke Somalis would be tempted. We have no responsibility to look after dadkaan.

Additionally, I've actually been back home. They look fit, young and strong and I will never be convinced they are not undercover military aka sirdoon and other agents.

No way he cares about Oromos. He's just frustrated MJs are fighting back. No chaos= no degmo for his kin to populate. Oromos gave his qalbi assurance. What's dehumanising is the insults and generalisations against an entire ethnic group. Posters who simply stated they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity because they're humans (let alone Muslims) got tons of down votes. That's pretty scary.

I'm assuming you mean those of them who are in Somalia illegally. Again, the government can safely deport illegal Oromo migrants but this doesn't need to come with a frenzy of anti-Oromo rhetoric.

What people don't seem to understand is that there is more than likely a certain subset of the Oromo population being pushed towards Somalia.

It is unlikely that an average Oromo family living somewhere in Ethiopia would suddenly decide to migrate to Somalia, especially when Ethiopia is classed as one of the better developing economies of Africa.

Also frustrating is that all of the actions taken by the Oromo are not discreet or intelligent by any means. They are extremely bold and belligerent with their aspirations. When someone shares their beliefs and aspirations, you take it at face value, especially if their actions correspond with said beliefs.

Vocal Oromos have mentioned on numerous occasions that they believe Somalia belongs to them.

Not only have they partaken in all the above astutely put together by @Puntite queen , but there also seems to be an ongoing agenda to defame Somalis worldwide. Go on social media and it is not hard to find someone claiming a Somali identity while spreading mischief and discord among other communities.

One of their favourite tactics is to claim Somalinimo while berating Somalis as useless, prejudice and evil people while of course being counted as one of the "good ones" themselves. They get away with it due to their racial similarity with us.

They also love to create clan tensions, and any time you start a discussion with them, they are quick to mention clan politics as an attempt to sow disharmony among Somalis.

Oromo children on the streets of Hargeisa saying Somali lands are theirs. Children repeat what they hear at home. Ask yourselves why they are having children on Somali soil. Obviously it's to learn the language culture, and ape the locals.

What I find most interesting is that all we did is report on things that are actually going on, in addition to calling for deportations. All are legal and all fact based. But we have Somalis on here, acting as if we are the ones calling for people to be cannibalised and mistreated. The worst people have done on here is throw around an insult or two. Which pales in comparison to actual crimes committed by Oromos daily.

Deporting Oromos is legal and moral.
Reporting on Oromo crimes is also legal and moral.

Somalis also forget that Ethiopia is bolstered by the West as a certain country is protected and galvanised in the Middle East. France is also building a navy for Ethiopia, a landlocked nation. Obviously, the goal is for Ethiopia to have sea access and in order to do that, they need a friendly local population.

It's not a coincidence that Oromos keep flooding North-West in particular, as Saylac and other areas are earmarked for the upcoming invasion.

I caught a bunch of them on TikTok, trying to get Somalis to fight each other in the comment section about Oromo deportation. They know we have major internal issues and can be distracted against each other instead. But I think the tide is turning tbh especially as they have been exposed as ISIS operatives.

North-West aka Somaliland has a large 'undercover' population of Oromo in addition to compromised groups such as Jaarso and Akisho.

If I was from those regions I'd be very concerned because that's the first place they will strike.

I'd urge Somalis to keep an eye on groups such as Jaarso, Akisho and others who are used to change politics and demographics in border areas. Interestingly enough, these compromised groups are the ones who love to migrate to Isaaq/Dir lands and those are the areas earmarked for Ethiopia's new 'navy'.

But if we speak on these things, we will be painted as being extremist.

Please don't be fooled into believing everyone on this forum is an ethnic Somali or even likes Somalis. For example, @Kamaaludeen Al Reewin is a Bantu from Somalia. But he pretends to be an ethnic Somali from the D&M. That is why he likes to paint Somalis as aggressors when he gets the chance and he does it in a subtle manner. His former name was @mohamedismail but he changed it when he realised everyone knew why he was really mad (why are Somali women not marrying Bantu men).


That's why he is back on this forum, trying to paint Oromo as miskeen and ethnic Somalis as the aggressors.

If you are a minority in Somalia, Oromo or something else, at least represent your people proudly, so that we know what drives your agenda to be subversive on this forum.

They want our land and especially our coast which is France is building a navy for Ethiopia. There is an agenda to annex Somalia once and for all as we are deemed a threat and likely wrench in the plans of regional and global powers. Some very deep pockets are pushing this agenda.

We have Allah if we can only unite as a people and stop the in fighting. Allah has already blessed us with Islam, beauty, land, culture and history that many envy. Everyone sees it but us.
