Palestinians online: "Anywhere is better than Somalia. They are a starving people"

We would have gotten a lot farther with we said from 1960 to free Israel. This what these rich arabs did. We should never to free not help another country no more. They insulted us for wanting there betterment. This is a learning lesson for all Somali people I don't care where you're from. We should be an ass whole to all arabs. An ass while gets what he wants and ever loses anything. I'm done with all the boycotts I'm gone get myself fat juice burger and Starbucks to wash it down with. Free Israel 🇸🇴🤝🇮🇱

A lot of crazy people on this site kkkkkk, handful of Palestinians say something racist and this whole site goes apeshit.

I guess the madow hate against us is justified then. You can't say it's only trolls when it comes to us but generalize the whole Palestinian community based on the comments of a few. I don't think we have low IQ, we have low EQ.

Where did the huge money come from to build these facilities in Lebanon, Jordan, Gaza and the West Bank?

Western and Gulf Arab countries have built schools, hospitals and roads and paid the salaries of the police and Aramy staff.

If Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Gaza, the West Bank and Syria are deprived of this aid money, their lives will become an unbearable hell and they will devour each other.

The aid Gaza receives every month from the Arab Gulf states and the West far exceeds what Somalia has received for many years.

Whenever Israel bombed and destroyed Lebanon and the Gaza Strip,
the Arab Gulf states bore the costs of and rebuilding hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, government institutions and sports facilities, roads and bridges ,and water and sewage facilities..

You Somalis, nobody cares about you, neither the Arabs nor the West.

Somalia is not a high priority for Arab governments or peoples, let alone the Arab desire to help Somalia to pull the country out of its downward spiral.
Thank you

Even the Malaysians have built teaching hospitals in Palestinian Territories.

I mean, good for them as they need the help. However, it’s been frustrating seeing some of our people ignoring this important context just so that they can score cheap points against their own country.

its not a handful, contemptent against black peoplel is a cornerstone of arab culture. Yeah you can say whatabout everybody else but they take it to an extreme.

This @Atoosh sounds demented and filled to the brim with resentment.

Palestinians/Gaza received hundreds of billions of dollars of aid and funding by foreign governments. They were recognized as legitimate sovereign state and entity by 146 of the 193 UN member states.

The EU, U.S., UN, and Gulf states provided billions in aid, funding infrastructure, education, and humanitarian efforts.

Qatar invested in infrastructure projects and energy supplies in Gaza. Turkey funded business development and housing projects. Billions in foreign aid helped sustain education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

They had trade with Isreal, European Union and other Arab regional states, to import and export. There was even some joint industrial zones were planned between Israel and Palestine.
The EU granted the Palestinian territories preferential trade access, allowing duty-free exports of agricultural and industrial goods. Palestinian products had preferential access to Arab League markets under the Greater Arab Free Trade Agreement (GAFTA). Jordan and Egypt were key trade partners.

UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) funded and provided widespread access to education for Palestinians, including refugees.

This is very unlike the case with Somalia. Somaliland was unrecognized and diplomatically isolated(blocked from international financial institutions and trade deals) and Somalia/Mogadishu was sanctioned and blocked from foreign trade, investments with Financial restrictions put on it by UN security council and US. The last of which was removed from 2020.

The aid Somalia received by the USAD was minuscule crumbs for relief efforts that was dwarfed by the 1.9 billion Somalis diaspora sent each year.

Most of the investment and funding Somalia received was from remittances from the Somali diaspora. That played a dual role as investment vehicle and keeping the country afloat until domestic production and local business activity resumed post 2012-2015.

Somalia , whether it be Mogadishu, Puntland and Hargeisa's wealth and development is almost entirely self-generated by Somalis with not much support from foreign aid. Same thing with their institutions like education is privately supported by communities and not UN and government aid that create widespread universal primary & secondary education in Palestine and access to international scholarships, allowing for higher education mobility for Palestinians.

It's only with the return of the educated diaspora that the educational institutions are now developing in Somalia with better quality.

95% of education, health care, energy, infrastructure projects and housing in the country are funded by private Somali investors and banks/community.

If anything ya'll should be singing the praises of Somalis and be amazed. It actually shows how much support we have poured into our people , when the whole world abandoned us.

Listen those of us somalis who reer scandinavia specially Denmark live in the same neighbourhoods and grew up alongside palestinians, as they make up one of the biggest immigrant groups in Denmark. I have never ever and i mean ever met a somali who gets along with them. They are literally the most racist group i have ever met in my life, and i have seen alot of it. Somali fob parents who raise their kids in anglo countries warn them with "mathowga ha raacin". Here in Scandinavia we raised with the phrase "carabta iska ilaali".

But ofcourse we are still obliged as muslims to stand in solidarity with the opressed against the oppressor, we should continue to show support and have desireble community values while also be aware of the qashin nature many of them have. And i say this as someone who has seen Palestinians and their culture up close.

On Twitter many Egyptians are warning Somalis not to take the Palestinians in. I'm starting to think the Arabs know something we don't. I used to think it was copium because they couldn't help them but now I believe that they genuinely don't want Palestinians at all because they know them

Fighting back against lies and racism does not mean we have lost the deen. Not everything critical of arab culture and the lack of "Ummah" when it comes to black african muslims is a word against islam.

However, turning away against Palestine and genocide is wild. Racists deserve human rights too ya'll. Lmao

Imagine despising your people so much that you take the side of Palestinians that as a group was given preferential treatment by international world bodies and bank rolled with handouts against Somalis as a group that is self-funded and only relied only it's diaspora.

Most war-torn regions depend on foreign aid, external governments, and NGOs, Somalia’s development has been almost entirely self-funded by Somalis themselves. Instead of relying on massive international donations, Somalia has built it's own economy (telecom, banking, trade) without government support.

Somalia is a rare example of a conflict zone and recovering regions where the people not foreign governments or institutions are the primary drivers of economic survival and development. So give them more credit.

Anyways like i said , Somalia is booming and thriving. It doesn't matter what they say online about it

Others who go back home, have noticed the same thing or surprised by how fast things are progressing.

A post from 7 days ago, with photos of local areas

The region I'm from is under Ethiopia and even the Somalis over there without the help of the government have created their own school institutions, roads, electricity, etc. And the other region I'm from they are doing the same without governmental help or aid (from the Northern Region). Only Somalis are building it up. We have done everything ourselves and will continue to do so. Its best to just ignore these self haters and debbie downers. They have done nothing with their lives and think we are on the same level as them.
