Secessionist propaganda in full swing, and 'cos they can not do anything about Hamza vising SSC KH, they swirl falsities in trying to seek help elsewhere in pitching Garowe against LA, where there is no discernible beef between the two.

Besides, there are direct flights to LA, and there is no need for the PM to fly to Garowe unless there is a plan for him to visit PL.

As said before, if true, this is a clever move on Hamza's part to resuscitate his political career in its dying days.

I completely support Hamse coming to Las Anod. It gives SSC a massive political boost in status and demonstrates intent on the part of the FGS. If Deni stops Hamse from landing in Garowe in order to travel to Las Anod he is a dirty traitor.

The cause of SSC is more important, much much more, than any disagreement between Puntland and the FGS.

He can travel directly to LA without going through Garowe. They have done it before. Saying otherwise is BS

Before the news emerged that it was probably Somaliland that threw a tantrum and forced the PM to return home, the idea of Puntland shooting down the PM’s airplane would have been like winning the lottery for HSM. It would exacerbate inter-Darood conflict and push the international community to back the FGS, something even the largest dullard could predict, making it that much more unlikely that they would shoot or otherwise threaten the PM.

I have to commend @Itsnotthateasy for how quickly he was able to put out a relatively convincing false narrative to try and divide and stir conflict.

Let's be rational about this and properly analyse the pros and cons of this trip.

Pros:

1. SSC Khaatumo will gain badly needed legitimacy, since 1984 no president/prime minister of Somalia has visited this part of the country.
2. The trip will be widely publicized around the globe and the international community will notice the political and military might of this new State up north, shattering the authenticity of SL's claims of this region.
3. This trip will further weaken the secessionist project of SL, previous admins of Somali government avoided to visit the region due to the ongoing talks, this means the Somali government no longer sees those talks as necessary to solve the secessionist problem.

Cons:

1. SSC shouldn't entertain Hamza's agendas, such as participating local council elections planned by FGS, or completion of HSM new constitution. If they do so it will be a political suicide and they will face political isolation from their kin in Puntland and Jubaland who are currently in a political struggle with the FGS.

Differences with FGS leadership, then or now, are concerned with politics, legalities, and constitutional matters. And when its die-hard supporters can not defend on merit, they seek gymnastic politics. Very predictable.

This has nothing to do with D5 politics . Hutus currently hold the presidency and they couldn't get anything done. The constitution is half baked with only 4 articles done. Ethiopia got everything it wanted and more. ATMIS hasn't left after Dec 2024. AS is taking back all the lands gained by SNA in 2022-2023 and they're even attacking districts right beside Xamar . Why limit MJs to only Darood, They're the political elite of all Somalis. They had two sultanates doing international trade when most Somalis wore cow hide. They created SYL and were the majority of members. They were also the first to rebel against the Kacaan only for other clans to follow in their footsteps later. I was just caught up in the political intrigue and machinations of Puntland. I will probably avoid it in future.
