Pompeii Samples

For example let’s get the breakdown of kikuyu since they are three way mix of Bantu,Cushitic and Nilotic,I’ll use Somali for Cushitic, what will I use for Nilotic and Bantu what are the best proxies

For Somali, just pick the Somali average cord. I have my personal setup of selected samples, but When dealing with non-Cushitic groups, one generally does not need the internal nuance of Cushitic representation. Dinka for Nilotic. I prefer Sudanese7. ZAF is a Southern African hunter-gatherer.

Don't go for Kenyan Bantu. That sample is admixed with regional stuff. Go for Kindoki 230 BP.

Anyway, bro. I'm not trying to derail this thread. DM me if you have other questions on this topic

Sardinians have almost 80% Anatolian Neolithic genetics which is kind of crazy to think about.

Still, they look White. :dead:

I think the Western Hunter-Gatherer, although they could have an N-Word pass...

...turned into a White phenotype-enhancing signature later. Like how if @Nilotic married a White woman (which is a big chance), his children would look lighter than mixed Somalis. Nilotic skin tone is a swarthy lightskins.:icon lol:

Yamnaya also had to be the one single ancestry that is synonymous with White (they too looked darker-ish with brown hair, without blue eyes). This was introduced through one of those cadaan pottery peoples, Bell Beaker-related.

So the Sardinians probably mixed with a population that was light and introduced the Yamnaya and Western hunter-gatherers, on top of environmental adaptation. However, you slightly see the MENA in them, possibly retention of the Anatolian and Early Neolithic past:

@The alchemist The excess Eastern Hunter gatherer imbedded in the Yamnaya is what really made the Northern European stand out as being “whiter” and more bigger “robust” compared to the swarthy Mediterranean imo.
The physical build and lateral stature of the Yamnaya relate closely to their population. Studies suggest lactase consumption allowed for an ample growth advantage sourced through their pastoralist activities. I'm not sure how much the anatomical features are inherited from the EHG, skin pigmentation similar to the larger bodily characteristics, trended past the temporal horizon of the genetic introduction attributed to these phenotypical developments. The fine-line threads of genetic derivatives for traits are so intricate it's hard to give direction for its credit. SHG, being the initial introduction of ANE ancestry in Scandinavia, had a high polygenic height score. Blue eyes and blonde hair were later selective sweeps that reached unprecedented frequency across certain mainland European cultures, skin pigmentation likely driven by aspects regarding vitamin D synthesis, sourcing potentiality from several genetic lines.

It's hard to attribute skin pigmentation to people who never had such expression during their period. Dark-skinned Soqotris are genetically indistinguishable from the Yemenis, who look light. Knowing Natufians were melanated, are we justified in assuming that was the source? I'm not sure.
