How would the county like government avoid the clan states scenario? What you typed sounds like a federalised Somalia.

yeah there would be elections but kind of like america, everyone running for office isn't much better than his or her opposition. let people elect, but always present them with candidates that will do the same thing.

How would the county like government avoid the clan states scenario? What you typed sounds like a federalised Somalia.

County government wouldn't be able to compete with the Federal government to the same degree and therefore if they implement rules that favor one clan the state would be able to stop ala USA vs. Alabama.

More power would also go to the Federal goverment while the administration would happen at county.

I can see the government not interfering in religious matters, but theirs no way religion wont affect the day to day life of Somalis because Somalia is a proud Muslim country.

I would have four main priorties:

1: Solidify control of the areas under government control and increase secruity

2: Allow for better funding mechanism for the government

3: Create an independent corruption body

4: Solidly a constitutional make-up for the future.
