Bari has more than double the population of Mudug, but not many registered to vote. Bosaso alone has more than hundred thousand residents let alone the whole region.

i think turnout was low evevrywhere due to it just being local elections. but i dont know mudug is pretty big i am having hard time believeing its half size of bari when it has galkacyo, galdogob, bursalax, jARIBAN, saaxo

also these estmates always shows failry close populations even though they guestimates. hopefully census done soon only way to know for sure

Possibly. The 66 was a basic formulae by region, and not by population, and it was supposed to have been replaced by actual population numbers post census, which never took place.

Any result of an election in which the 17 fake MPs participate is null & void.
If the other candidates agree to their participation it will be clear that there is consensus among MJ to sabotage the Dhulbahante politically, and destroy any hope of them having a federal state.

Deni is giving Culusow the excuse he needs to deny SSC FMS status in the future.
Galmudug and Banadir will be admitted as federal states and will be named in the upcoming constitution. SSC will be told to reach an agreement with Puntland, like Ximan iyo Xeeb and AhluSunna did with Galmudug.

SSC is being delegitimized by Deni and all other politicians in PL support this.

49 MPs can vote for this election. This is unnecessary and will cause problems. I don't get how this so called politicians can't see this. They have decided and let them go. Karash and other Dhulos in gov could've set a good example and resigned but they are all still here. The Garaads are not also faultless. They are the ones who convinced Deni to give up 1m1v for 66 MPs and they were in the process of selecting their MPs till the people of SSC protested. Having said that, they made their decision as late as it maybe. Let's honor that. 49 MPs or divide the 17 among Bari, Nugaal and mudug. Anything else is stupid.
