I suggest Puntland to build some kind of barrier against non-Puntlanders coming in, we need people to get the job done, the Yemens and Syrians are thriving in Puntland because they've all opened up restaurants, Tailor shops, Barber shops and many more. We are not responsible for babysitting unemployed males nor is it our duty to find work for them. This is how I know many of you are detached from reality. You guys underestimate the difficulty of travelling to Southern Somalia from PL.

If any of you guys lived in PL, you would know the only safe way back to Southern Somalia is by air. Barely anyone takes a car to the South due to Al-Shabaab checkpoints and mooryaans. It’s unsafe especially for families and Somali Bantus.

An airplane ticket from any of the major PL cities to Xamar is a few hundred US dollars a person. An entire family cannot afford to pack up their livelihood and move across the country.

It is easier to travel to PL from the South than vice versa.

Firstly, you will have Southern Somalia registration plates that will make it hard for any checkpoint to know your exact origin point and destination. For all they know you are travelling from tuulo to the next. However, if you have a PL registration plate, you will get into trouble the minute you drive out of Baraxleey.

Secondly, people save their entire life savings to leave their home regions. When they arrive in another region/country/continent, they will have enough to sustain them until they find work.

Example: Tahriib to Europe sometimes costs up to 20 thousand.

Do you really think those immigrants can afford a return trip?
