We need to discuss this question honestly as puntites, do we play a role in Shabab arms in the south? You know Caare was given the green-light to get weapons docked to him from Bosaso. Recently Xaaf had his weapons confiscated by the cadaado govt of Baasto which came through Bosaso. There is number of reports that Shabab smuggles weapons in thru bosaso and not actually ceelaayo because bosaso is highly 'wadaad politics' and they have connections with these islamic terrorist groups and I could imagine them working with shabab.

So do we have a role in this Shabab thing? Cause they surely ain't docking shit down from Mogadishu port or Kismayo port which their trying to fight so they won't open up their ports to them. Berbera isn't known for weapon smuggling. This leaves the only last functioning port. Did we cut a deal with Shabab they leave us alone and attack Mogadishu and in return we provide them a place to source weapons from yemen?

Yes we catch many, the problem isn't the government and it's policies, their doing their best to stop it but can u imagine how many haven't been caught and went to mogadishu? I suspect it's old al-itihaad boys in the town who have friends within shabab at high levels and helping facilitate arms smuggling activities thru their contacts. I mean how in the world can they reside in galgala or qandala mountains? they are allowed to come and go, someone is facilitating it on the ground. The guy needs water, food, etc who is bringing it to them in the mountains? Strings are being pulled at high level within our society. For once I seem to agree with you. I think galgala/qandala cell are simply there for shabab as their northern 'port' access link, they give them the 'iternary' they want from the south and then those galgala/qandala boys work their al-itihaad contacts inside bosaso(using clan links) and make it happen. That's what I think is happening. The rest is then trucked down to mogadishu and if any official be it govt or police is in the way 'they assasinate him' or send a message thru throwing a grenade into the police station.

Ok explain logically why galgala/qandala cell carry out 'assasinations' and 'grenade' attacks at police stations? they only target either the police or an offiicial of puntland govt but more so the police stations.
