When was this constitution drafted?I was right when I said that you support your clansmen blindly. CCC lied to some unsuspecting shacab. The PL constitution doesn't claim the entire mudug.
This is what the Puntland constitution says about its territory and borders in article 3
Territory, Borders and Its Inviolability and Sacredness
1. The territorial sovereignty of Puntland shall extend to: East Region of Bari, Nugal, Sool, South Togdher (Buhodle District), Mudug except the Districts of Hobyo and Haradhere and Sanag Region except the District of El-Afweyn and Northeast of Erigavo District.

When was this constitution drafted?

A historic moment: Puntland’s constitution now ratified
April 20, 2012
The Puntland Constitution, ratified Wednesday with a 98% ‘yes’ vote has taken time in coming.
The constitution-making process, a revision to the quickly drafted, non-ratified provisional constitution of 1998, had started in earnest back in 2007. But the efforts of all Puntlanders were rewarded this week. Delegates representing the communities across the Puntland region had gathered to listen and discuss each and every one of the 141 articles of the newly drafted constitution.
On the 18 April 2012, the final day of the convention, the 478 delegates affirmed that this draft would be the constitution for Puntland and its future.

It sad how low Puntland has fell to ever since Abdullahi Yusuf passed away. He managed to unite all Darood, let alone Harti. In fact, he even wanted to unite all of Mudug including Hawiye into the Puntland administration. He won Presidency in the 4.5 system easily, whilst these newcomers are calling for independence.
It's absolutely sad to see how Puntland, the founders of the Somali state post-Barre, have now evolved into Xabashi loving Somalidiids just like their neighbours to the West. Absolutely shameful how it has been hijacked by corrupt people who only care about their bellies.
Sad turn of events when demonized Puntland is the only one with enough guts to go against Ethiopia.
only so long people can wait for the south to stop blowing themselves up. its practically a Ugandan colony now.It sad how low Puntland has fell to ever since Abdullahi Yusuf passed away. That fat shushumo eating calool u shaqeeste weeye wallahiAre you dumb? It was drafted in 2001 and ratified in 2009 and again 2012.
The Somali Language is the official and legally recognized language of the original copy of the Constitution of Puntland and shall come into force on the 1st of July 2001

Scroll all the way down.
Besides let's say it was drafted in 2012. CCC made his comments in 2016, so he was clearly lying about our constitution
Who's closer to you as a somalilander Somalia or Ethiopia?f*ck Ethiopia, the only thing they are is a means of getting forward. Let them think that they are using you to f*ck them over later.
Simple as that.
Somalia obviously, we are the same people. Ethiopia is a disgusting country and should only be interacted with when it's beneficial for both parties. The world is a messed up place and there are things we can't control yet.Who's closer to you as a somalilander Somalia or Ethiopia?
Do you blame all Somalis for the crimes committed by the late dictator against your people? If not then what's your justification for secession? You think I support Somaliland because I somehow hate Somalia? Absolutely not, it's because of geo-politics that makes it very hard for Somalia and there are some disgusting power-hungry country that make sure it stays the way it is. I would love for Somaliweyn to exist but it is impossible and could lead to some very lengthy wars.
If Somaliweyn existed you bet we would be a very powerful nation with surely a healthy strong economy, military and health sector. As I said this world is a messed up place and there are many things we can't control.
The past is the past that's how I see it. I don't think it is right to blame everyone for the actions of a dictator and his entourage.Do you blame all Somalis for the crimes committed by the late dictator against your people? If not then what's your justification for secession?
So you believe the British colonialist word to be sacrosanct sort of like the Quran. You're using the same argument that the zionists use to lay claim over Palestine through Balfour declaration Zionist say the land was given to them by the British. The past is the past that's how I see it. I don't think it is right to blame everyone for the actions of a dictator and his entourage.
I believe that the justification for secession is purely based on circumstances and the opportune claim on the British Somaliland Protectorate. If Britain did NOT give Somaliland the independence it got 1960 where many countries recognized Somaliland the situation today would be a lot different today. If they did not colonize at all maybe we wouldn't be in the shithole we are in.
For once I would be a unionist because seceding would be a lot harder and not really worth the effort. I wouldn't see it as an option
The justification of secession can be argued I agree, but with everything that is going on it would help that region be extremely if it would secede. I mean the economy would boom, health sector, infrastructure would rapidly improve. While ideally Somalia should be ONE it is simply to many things that stands in the way for that to happen.
I do not believe it is sacrosanct at all it's mainly used as an argument for seceding. Since the international community can't refute or deny in a way that Somaliland was once a country that was recognized it further solidifies their claim. British colonialist also had a huge part in making the borders not only in Africa but all over the world and I believe that this current Somaliland government and past ones are using that to their advantage to control or in the future take control of the disputed areas. So you believe the British colonialist word to be sacrosanct sort of like the Quran. You're using the same argument that the zionists use to lay claim over Palestine through Balfour declaration Zionist say the land was given to them by the British.
Personally I support Isaac secession since the majority of Isaac want it but many ciise, warsengeli, samaroon, dhulbhante reject it and are mostly unionists wholeheartedly.
So my question to you is since Somalia can't force Isaac to breakaway Isaac force all those other tribes to breakaway with them against their will?
@TooMacaan what do u think?like animals girls in garoowe are proudly wearing the Ethiopian flag
Celebrating Ethiopian independence like puntland is part of Ethiopia
