The guy is marehan, not a Puntland native. There's a popular eye specialist in Garowe who is Marehan, and he demanded the release of that guy or else he would close his clinic. Leicester community told the authorities that he was a suspect in Bosaso, and they took the accusations serious. Last I heard was that he was keeping a low profile.

I am not denying that masjids are divide along qabil lines, but that guy escaped fire squad because of qabil. It's just ironic.
