Ignore him, he's a straight up misogynist. He said that the downfall of society was giving women education and rights. You can't reason with those types.

Let him try to explain the downfall of Somali society. One in which women are more illiterate and poorer than men. The women are wholly dependent but the divorce rates are ridiculously high. Corruption is high, poverty is high and the list goes on. Western Somali men blaming the breakdown of family values on women’s education in the West are a funny lot. Their county is just as bad if not worse when it comes to the break down of family values and marriages

Misogynistic men are so wrapped up by fantasy that they seem to have an inability to look at the world for what it is. They’ll blame women for divorce when abused and blame them for the break down of the family and family values but will have no issues with a man divorcing his wife because of the pettiest of reasons or the rampant polygamy of men in our community who can’t even afford to have more than one wife and the lack of provision and real commitment. We’re meant to be uneducated and broke so that if we’re tossed, we can be working dead end back-breaking jobs at 40 instead of having cushy savings. All for the sake of their ego.

@j&jenterprises Where is this dependence he is talking about when many of our habars who are 45-65 have husbands who’ve moved back home without giving them a penny or the divorced ones with nothing to fall back on and now at their ages, they’re working in care, washing the backside of cadaan pensioners?

One of the mothers was blamed for the father killing the children in a drunk driving accident. I've come to realize a lot of men are coddled and aren't held responsible for themselves, which turns everything on the big Bad Boogeyman: women.
