No, strictly Somali. Theres not that many of us in the diaspora, I want my children to look like me and I want to relate with someone and I can't relate with an ajanabi to how I can with my own people.
Exactly although it would be a tragedy if my genes left the somali gene pool. There's at least 200k Somalis living in the UK, if not more.
Everytime I travel to different cities I always spot a Somali.
Now add that to all other European Somalis, North America (Canada, US) PLUS Arab states. Diaspora could be 1million.
There are enough of us.
Lol theres no way somalis are 200k in the uk stop the cap. We are only concentrated in certain area and even than we are dwarfed by other ethnicities. We are probably around 100k or a little less. There's at least 200k Somalis living in the UK, if not more.

Unless we move to somalia its inevitable that we are going to form a new identity or assimilate. but besides that i think somali culture has regressed immensely since the civil war began. a lot of the unique things I see in old media have seriously diminished. music, poetry, clothes, food, etc.You will also open your children up to a host of problems, likelihood of racism from family members, cultural confusion, loss of a solid identity and many more unforeseen things just because you had the horny itch for some forbidden exotic fruit.
Good luck with that.
