As you grow older you become a lot more conservative in your views, including interracial marriages. I thought nothing of it when I was younger and even thought my aunt was a bit extreme for rejecting a revert for her daughter. But now I understand her reasoning. Marriage can be challenging to navigate as it is, marrying out adds more complications and potential problems; for you and your spouse, for both of your families and for your children. There's nothing wrong with it but it's important to bear this in mind instead of romanticising it.
There's at least 200k Somalis living in the UK, if not more.
Everytime I travel to different cities I always spot a Somali.
Now add that to all other European Somalis, North America (Canada, US) PLUS Arab states. Diaspora could be 1million.
There are enough of us.

Lol theres no way somalis are 200k in the uk stop the cap. We are only concentrated in certain area and even than we are dwarfed by other ethnicities. We are probably around 100k or a little less.
In Census 2021, 176,645 people identified themselves as Somali (0.3% of the usual resident population of England and Wales).
That doesnt include Scotland and Northern Ireland.
if you factor that with Somalis who didn't even bother filling Census it's probably even more. And we're now in 2025 so that data is 3yrs old at least.
Unless we move to somalia its inevitable that we are going to form a new identity or assimilate. but besides that i think somali culture has regressed immensely since the civil war began. a lot of the unique things I see in old media have seriously diminished. music, poetry, clothes, food, etc.
whats even worse is so many bad things have remained as bad or strengthened. corruption and qabil. its actually shocking how many of the older generation dont care if they do fraud man. what are we even defending if the people who are the source itself arent. i know it wasnt rosy back then either but damn bro

Our genes are pretty weak and will be dwarfed by the other ethnicity. Imagine it happens a great deal to the point there's more half somalis than full somalis like what's happening with Caribbeans in the uk.
