Rant on somalia

The issue in Africa is bad culture not IQ. Bad culture is what eventually destroys a group of people or nation.
If you look at old pictures of Somalia you will notice how clean the environment was and how well people dressed and behaved.
The poor lady selling tomatoes didn't envy the rich, she was happy with what she had and was treated with dignity, the rich didn't flaunt their wealth and were generous and well liked.
Much of the projects back then was carried out by communities of people not the government, the "do it yourself for the benefit of the community" was a famous slogan, many hospitals, roads and other large scale projects were built this way.
Everything is 360 today, people literally dump their rubbish at their front-door, water from the sink and toilets pours directly to the same spot where their own kids play, they don't chastise their kids when they hurl stones at neighbours.
The rich flaunt their wealth with lofty buildings, but don't have the intelligence or foresight to fill the ditch in front of their house or businesses which becomes a hot bed for mosquitos threatening not only their health but also the foundations of their building, if you tell them, the response is always "it's for the government to solve"
That's our disease today which is inculcated into the next generation and it has become part of our culture to always look for someone else to solve our own problems.
The Somali's in the west are no different, the neighbourhoods we live in are filthy and our attitudes are not different, when was the last time you saw a regular Somali picking up dirt from the street? Like you regularly see with whites and far east Asians?
You fix these problems through fixing our culture first (ideas, customs and social behaviour)
We are the only group of people that have made our lunatic asylum famous as well as our pathological liars, the masses of Somali's listen to these characters which other societies ignore.
Type Somali on YouTube and you will be hard-pressed to find any intelligent content that is of real tangible value that can uplift a person in a meaningful way, and the very few that are, have the lowest view count.
At least the folks back home have a legitimate excuse of civil war, but what is our excuse in the west?
