The meeting between Madobe and Farmaajo went well.
Farmaajo is a true nationalist but he managed to convince MX elders to not go against the Jubba regime anymore and in return Madobe promised to step down. The final agreement was for the elections not to be delayed and to be overseen by the Jubba State election council and the FGS election council. If he tries to go against this Madobe will be in a lot of trouble, Hes testing the waters to see if his garrisa friend and the kenyans might be able to convince Farmajo (which I highly doubt)
