Ethiopia uses a similar demographic strategy to cement its rule. They use Amharas and Oromos to take over potential rebellious regions. Benishangul Gumuz is now mostly Amhara-Oromo, Dire Dawa and Harar also successfully taken over.

Arabs seem to lean towards Russia. Recently was at this MENA ghetto coffeeshop in my area. The Arabs (mainly Syrian) were FKDing for Putin and Russia while the Turks were shilling for Ukraine/Nato/EU.

Nah, Turks in Western Europe are descendants of rural peasants and have strong conservative values, even the younger ones. They massively voted for Erdogan last time around. Turks in urban areas of Turkey are proportionally much more liberal and Westernized.
Yup. They're like the Han-Chinese and China. A lot of Somali folks in Diridhabe are now pretty much Oromized and the Axmaar and Oromo are huge in number. Hararis and Somalis are like less than 10% of the Harari region. I have no doubt that if they ruled Somaliweyn as a whole they'd find a way to incentivize settling on our coast and outnumber us in all the major cities of the peninsula in time while slowly Oromizing or Amharizing Somalis. Russians pull similar shit to an extent and tried it with Central Asians, for example.

Pretty much. In this case the western elites aren't necessarily seeking demographic and cultural change. In fact, they ideally don't want that and want you guys and other diasporans from the 3rd world to culturally integrate long-term but they need you for votes and also, more importantly, for economic growth. You can't have a growing economy with a declining population. The west dipped below replacement numbers ages ago and would be in the same precarious predicament as Japan. It's just that cadaans are more open to letting immigrants come in to maintain population growth.
It's a band-aid strategy. Sooner or later, even if it takes a hundred years, moving to the west will not be as enticing as the rest of the world develops and all of you immigrants will have long most likely developed the same birth-rates as cadaans like most people do in the "developed world". Major, somewhat developed cities in the 3rd world are already seeing low birth-rates like in Addis. When that times comes, what is the plan? I'm sad I won't live to see global late stage capitalism and when it all comes crashing down.

Reminds me of Germans being super ashamed of being German between 1914-1960.
They still kind of are, call a German who is abroad a Nazi and watch them mentally break down, but diaspora Germans are no longer ashamed of their country and ethnicity like they were in that time period.

@Apollo @Shimbiris russian settler colonialism was brutal. even chechnya was heavily populated by russians. kazakhstan wasnt even majority kazakh in 1991. north kazakhstan still has a lot of russians. and liberal russians will also flee to kazakhstan. and they dont speak kazakh. russian settlers are like rhodesians waa trouble.

I have actually wondered about how the Germans deal with their Nazi past. I guess it is a taboo and awkward thing to bring up at the dinner table?
Most ethnic Kazakhs still speak Russian too. Kazakhs were the demographics who began to become more common in the UAE when I turned around 18-22 alongside Nigerians, Kenyans and other SSAs who weren't Horner. Went to Uni with a lot of them. Pleasant people and I made a couple of decent friends. But I kept being startled by how most of them had Russian accents. You could tell Russian, rather than their Turkic mother tongue, was their first language.
