Ya that dude is misinformed...Isaaq were definitely the hardest hit by Siyad Barre and his cronies. A lot of people who are anti-Isaaq/anti-SL try to use the fact that he targeted other tribes as well to downplay the atrocities that happened in Somaliland. But he definitely did target MJs and many of them were killed and that shouldn't be ignored. AUN intii dhimatay.

I went through that Twitter conversation and I don't see the anti-MJ sentiment you guys are talking about.

When you ask for proof, you're indirectly saying you don't believe it. She claims to study Somali history, and yet is unaware of what happened during the Barre era, as if history started in 1988. The question of who was hit the first, most or hardest is irrelevant for me tbh.

However, former SL President Cigaal AUN can answer the above question.
