I don't havw trouble believing this because stuff like this happen to africans all the time in arab countries. You'd rather assume that this is all a hoax for some crazy agenda than to look at it how it is. You really are dickriding arabs. Any Somali maids going to Arab, European, or Asian countries should aim to work for Somali households so they don't abuse them. We all know what they went through in Yemen

Really? You really think arabs aren't racist towards africans? My mom showed me a video off Whatsapp where a somali man was hogtied and beat in Libya and all he could do was scream the shahada because he didn't arabic. Ugandan maid was killed in Lebanon after the family refused to pay her for months and she was constantly abused and starving. Another African maid was thrown off a building but luckily she survived (also happened in lebanon). You'd probably defend all these or give them the benefit of the doubt.
